Our Story
Türkü Home – The Brand that Keeps the Spirit of Anatolian Weaving Alive
Since the earliest traces of human history, weaving in Anatolia has existed as an art form and a language of life through handmade products such as carpets, rugs, bags, and saddlebags. Every pattern and motif tells a story. These motifs are symbols that express people's social status, beliefs, hopes, joys, sorrows, loves, and longings.
In nomadic Turkish culture, tents are woven from goat hair, and sweaters, socks, rugs, and kilims are woven from sheep's wool; each fulfills a need and reflects a belief or emotion. Motifs such as the tree of life, fertility, the evil eye, birds, waterways, and goat horns are silent witnesses to the cultural memory carried from the past to the present.
Türkü Home reinterprets this deep-rooted Anatolian weaving tradition and embraces the principles of the Ahilik philosophy: “honest labor, lawful earnings, sharing, and solidarity.”
Each of our products embodies the value of hard work, the elegance of craftsmanship, and the warmth of the Anatolian people.
For us, weaving is not just a production process, but a cultural carrier, a moral heritage, and a way of life.
Türkü Home is a brand committed to carrying Turkish weaving art into the future by combining the values of the past with the aesthetics of today.
